Hey, I'm so glad you're checking out my little corner of the internet. I'm Jacalyn, pronounced jay-sa-lynn. I've been writing at Stop Yelling Please since 2013, and have since decided to use my name as my brand has evolved past a mommy blog, so I needed my site to reflect all of who I am.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker by day, providing therapy to individuals in need. I'm also the mom of 4 great kids, and have a wonderful husband who puts up with all of my Lucy and Ethel type shenanigans. He's definitely the Chip to my Joana and cheers me on through whatever new adventure I set out to accomplish. 

 

Writing has always been my dream and I've been getting my feet wet for a while, now it's time to take the plunge. Aside from my blog, I'll also share some script pages, as creating worlds is my passion and long term goal. I do hope you'll like it here, and stick around to see what I have in store.
